Abigail O’Steen is a 14 year-old singer/songwriter (she will be 15 years old the day before her performance at the Summer Fair).  She is a self-taught pianist and guitarist and is currently learning electric guitar and drums.  Abigail has been writing her own music and lyrics since she was 12.  She is a vocalist for the Forward Student Ministries Youth Worship Band at Oasis Church in Pascagoula where she has also led worship for the church of over 750 and has been live-streamed worldwide. 
Abigail enjoys all styles of music and categorizes hers in the alternative folk/country genre.  She earned a high-gold at the Mississippi State Fair in 2010 for her performance of her original song, “Stupid Boy.”  Abigail has played at the Mullet Festival in Gautier, the Zonta Festival in Pascagoula and at various other venues including coffee shops, cafés, churches, and open mic nights.  She embraces every opportunity to share her music and aspires to produce a demo in the coming months in order to pursue her dream of becoming a world-renowned artist/performer.  She has been most strongly influenced by artists such as Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, and Kim Walker.
