An extremely talented singer and songwriter, Greg Griffin was born and raised in Lucedale, Mississippi. The musical influences of his childhood home varied - from the traditional country stylings of Merle Haggard and George Straight to the rocking sounds of Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and the kings of southern rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Armed with the music of his youth, natural talent, and an inherent hunger to perform, Greg Griffin developed his own unique style and in 2000, recorded his self-titled CD at Jay's Place in Nashville with Jay Vern, joining a roster of mega-stars such as Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Lone Star, Gretchen Wilson, Jo Dee Messina, Lonnie Mack, Rick Derringer, and Marc Alan.

In 2009, Greg formed GREG GRIFFIN and THE DRY CREEK BAND, featuring the talents of his long-time friend - lead guitarist Jim Gray, bassist Doug Howell, and drummer Keith Dykes. This group has been able to hone in on a distinctive, yet broadly appealing sound and persona. With well-placed harmonies, backups and guitar fills, energetic, driving beats, and haunting melodies – this band captures the eyes and ears of country and southern rock fans everywhere, and converts the rest!

 Currently, Greg Griffin and The Dry Creek Band having been touring throughout the southeastern region of the US, including  Nashville, Tennessee, where they have been blowing the doors off of some of the top music venues. The band has earned a very distinguished following in Nashville that includes  Steve O'Brien, hit songwriter whose songs have sold over 10 million copies, including the Brooks & Dunn hit “Rock My World,” and Hollywood celebrities, The Mauldin Brothers.  When Greg is not playing music, he serves his community as Lieutenant for the Gulfport Fire Department.
