Beauvoir is a great place for educational trips for your group. Beauvoir is the only antebellum National Landmark from New Orleans, LA to Mobile, AL. Our library and museum not only gives our guest (of all ages) a visual of how life was during the Civil War, but also get a hands-on experience you can take back home and share.

Group Tours 10+ Guests:
$7.50 per person + comp 2 admission

Visit our lovely gift shop, with many beautiful items…ranging from: Flags, magnets, novelty key chains, glass wear, and books to wonderful jewelry.

Enjoy our presidential library and museum, with displays telling stories of the Confederate soldier, Jefferson Davis’s horse and his fateful dog traveler.

Oyster Bayou runs down the middle of our property on the way to the Beauvoir Memorial Confederate Cemetery which is the home of the Unknown Confederate Soldier that was found near Vicksburg, MS.

The only part of the property that is guided is the tour of the house (about 30 minutes) the rest of the property is self-guided at your own pace. Beauvoir is the home to sheep, goats, peacocks, and our very own camel…Sir Camelot.

Visiting Beauvoir is like stepping into the past with everyone in period dress and helping your group learn about the culture of the late 1800’s in addition to Mississippi history.

Your tour includes:
Guided Tour of the Home
Mrs. Varian’s Garden
Confederate Cemetery
